  • ¾ cup sugar
  • 1 egg (room temperature)

  • 1 ¼ cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 ¼ teaspoons baking powder
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • ½ cup milk

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9-inch cake pan and line with parchment paper.
  2. In a bowl, combine brown sugar and melted butter; spread in the pan. Arrange sliced peaches on top.
  3. In a mixing bowl, beat room temperature butter and sugar until fluffy. Add egg and vanilla; mix well.
