  • 1/2 cup whole wheat breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1 cup Greek yogurt (for tzatziki)
  • 1 small cucumber
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon fresh dill or 1 teaspoon dried dill
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • Olive oil, for cooking

Instructions

  1. Prepare the tzatziki sauce by mixing Greek yogurt, grated cucumber, minced garlic, dill, lemon juice, salt, and pepper in a bowl. Refrigerate.
  2. In a large bowl, combine ground turkey, breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, parsley, garlic, oregano, onion powder, salt, pepper, and beaten egg. Mix gently until just combined.
  3. Shape the mixture into meatballs (about 1-2 inches) and cook in a preheated skillet with olive oil over medium heat for about 6–8 minutes on each side until golden brown and cooked through.
  4. Serve the cooked meatballs on a platter with tzatziki sauce for dipping.
